The government should take the vast education budget, Federal, State, and Local and Pay 25% of it to parents to get an education, then pay parents who are graduates 50% of it to stay home and educate their own children. If parents can afford to stay home and teach their children, our nation will benefit greatly. We may even get gainful employment back if economic laws apply as they always do if left alone. Homes will become stable again. The rest of the education budget can go to funding schools that sponsor kids moving into the workforce as entrepreneurs and as tradespersons. Sure teach some civics so people know how to be contributing members of our democratic republic, but focus on building self-reliance and industry.
Open up schooling to clubs and other organizations to help them learn to get along well with others and teach principles of liberty. Schools don’t need to use the funds if they are not chosen by parents for this. The good and bad and should published on the label and school services should be purchased by parents who should have the right to direct the remaining funds to organizations they feel are the best value for their child. The government should not mandate where children go for education.
